This cut comes from the top of the striploin and is known for its intense flavour and tender texture. The meat comes from prime, local, grass fed, Bord Bia approved beef. It's perfect for grilling, pan-frying, or roasting.

Our Striploin Steak is sourced from Bord Bia approved local Irish farms and is 100% grass-fed which ensures it is high in Omega 3 and full of vitamins.

A tender, juicy and flavorful steak that will tantalize your taste buds. The steak has a beautiful marbling of fat that gives it a mouthwatering flavour and a smooth, buttery texture.

Grill, Oven Broil or Pan-Sear. A tender, juicy cut of beef that is relatively easy to cook. Just season your steak with salt and pepper, then cook it in a hot pan for 3-4 minutes per side. Or give it a hot sear for 1 minute per side and place the entire pan in the oven at 190 C degrees for 6 to 10 minutes for a perfect medium rare.

Herbs like rosemary and thyme work well with the steaks smoky, beefy flavour, while sauces like barnaise or hollandaise add richness and depth. Steamed or roasted vegetables are always a good option, as are simple mashed potatoes or rice.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Zinfandel

A “strip” steak cut from the Short Loin primal, located on the cattle’s back behind the rib. The muscles in this primal, which contains the spine, get more “work” in the animal’s every day movements than the neighboring ribs, yielding a leaner steak and one that is fat and is revered for its beefy flavour and firm chew.
