Annascaul Black Pudding is renowned for its smoothness of texture, rich flavour and high nutritional values. First made in 1916, the original recipe has been handed down through three generations of the Ashe family. 

It is a unique Irish black pudding, is high in iron, contains no artificial additives or preservatives and is low in fat. A 100g slice of this pudding is double the adult iron requirement. A traditional Kerry pudding, it is cake baked in a square block shape.

Annascaul Black Pudding has a rich and savory flavour, with a slightly sweet and earthy taste. The spices used in the recipe give it a unique flavor profile that varies slightly depending on the brand and recipe. The pudding has a meaty taste with a hint of smokiness.
